Track coach invested in preparing team for college
Alfred Bejar, 64, is the varsity track and field and cross country coach at Franklin High School in Highland Park. Though he has suffered a heart attack, he continues to coach these sports, as well as football, because he knows that the athletes need help and guidance to get to a good college and to make a better life for themselves.
